About IBCAMH 2025

IBCAMH is a two-day addiction and mental health international conference organized by the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, University Malaysia Sabah in Kota Kinabalu. The first Addiction and Mental Health Conference in Borneo, 

The main objective is to serve as a platform to share knowledge and new updates by inviting distinguished experts in addiction and mental health. In this conference, the latest updates on various topics regarding addiction and mental health will be presented by the invited guests.

The theme for this year is 'Unresolved Addiction and Mental Health Challenges: A Multidisciplinary Framework Integrating Policy, Evidence-Based Practices, and Clinical Implementation'.

PURPOSE OF PROGRAM

v  To explore emerging scientific research and the latest advancements in addiction science and mental health issues

v  To address unresolved challenges in addiction and mental health treatment and discuss critical gaps in current addiction treatment models and therapies

v  To foster a deeper understanding of how scientific discoveries can be translated into practical, real-world solutions for addiction and mental health treatment and management.

v  To examine international trends in addiction and mental health, raise awareness about the global impact, and propose actionable solutions for policy changes and health systems strengthening.

v  To promote innovative strategies for addiction and mental health related issues through prevention, early intervention, and the reduction of stigma associated with substance use disorders.
